Tis the season for joy, love, peace, parties and packed event planners. This week, in addition to a plethora of year end mandatory work projects, I have to shop for gifts, host a charity table and take family photos. There is no end to the things that I have to do and events that I must attend. Not to mention, somewhere in the middle of this I still have to be a wife, mother, sister and daughter. This is my favorite and busiest time of year.
But, one thing I've learned is that this is not the time to lose touch with my fabulous side. This is the time to bring out figure flattering layers, to be festive with accessories and flirty with fashion. This is the time of year where you have a party or two that isn't a wedding. One in which you don't have to worry about outshining some woman in all white. One great way to save time and money is to pick pieces that could translate well in different settings. A little black dress that can be worn in the office all day and then dressed up with bold accessories and a funky heel for a little after hours soiree.
