Day 4 was my first workday with sl. Though my co-workers do not comprehend the cultural and cost complexities of black hair care and management they seemed to really like the change. I took a moment or two to explain relaxers, afros and locks and the pros and cons of each and they were both amazed and a bit more understanding of my decision to Sisterlock. Over all with proper maintenance and hair adornment I can maintain relatively corporate styled sistlerlocks and save my inner wild child for the weekends especially when these bad girls grow longer.
